Professor Warwick J. McKibbin, AO, FASSA is the Vice Chancellor’s Chair in Public Policy and is Director of the Centre for Applied Macroeconomic Analysis (CAMA) in the Crawford School of Public Policy at the Australian National University (ANU). He is also an ANU Public Policy Fellow; a Fellow of the Australian Academy of Social Sciences; a Distinguished Fellow of the Asia and Pacific Policy Society; a non-resident Senior Fellow at the Brookings Institution in Washington D.C (where he is co-Director of the Climate and Energy Economics Project). He was awarded the Order of Australia in 2016 “For Distinguished Service to Education as an Economist, Particularly in the Area of Global Climate Policy, and to Financial Institutions and International Organizations” and the Centenary medal in 2003 “For Service to Australian Society through Economic Policy and Tertiary Education”. \\r\\n\\r\\nProfessor McKibbin is internationally renowned for his contributions to global economic modeling and the theory of monetary policy and has published more than 200 peer reviewed academic papers and 5 books as well as being a regular commentator in the popular press. He served on the Board of the Reserve Bank of Australia from 2001 to 2011 and worked at the Reserve Bank from 1975 to 1991. He regularly advises international institutions, Central Banks, governments and corporations across a range of developed and emerging economies.\\r\\n \\r\\n

Steven’s career spans more than 30 years as an economist, financial markets strategist and institutional investor. Given his passion for education, Steven is now sharing his extensive experience and knowledge as a lecturer for UNSW, the AGSM and Kaplan Business School. \\r\\nSteven previously held the roles of Chief Economist and Head of Investments for Suncorp. In this capacity, he managed the investment team and a $21bn investment portfolio - focussing on asset allocation, fund manager selection and responsible investing.\\r\\nBefore joining Suncorp, Steven held the position of Chief Economist, St.George Bank. Steven has also previously worked at the Reserve Bank of Australia.\\r\\nSteven also now has a particular interest in assisting not-for-profit foundations maximise their risk-adjusted investment performance.
