Tina Samardzija
Bio
Tina has a broad background in economics and law with experience at all levels of government. Starting out as a commercial lawyer, Tina moved on to work in state and federal government on major legal, economic, and social policy reforms, including workplace relations, the NDIS and housing.
Tina is currently Industry Super Australia’s Senior Policy Adviser, Economics, supporting ISA’s advocacy and policy work to secure positive changes for members. Tina is also Deputy Mayor at Monash City Council.
Prior to joining ISA, Tina was a Senior Economist with the Victorian Department of Treasury and Finance. Tina has also held senior roles with the Productivity Commission, Commonwealth Department of Finance, and Consumer Affairs Victoria, and was a lawyer with Blake Dawson (now Ashurst).
Tina has Bachelor of Economics/Laws (Hons) from Monash University, a Postgraduate Diploma in Economics from the University of Melbourne, and a Master’s degree from the Australian National University.
