Bio
Ittima is an economist and Fellow in Higher Education at the Grattan Institute. She has co-written a several reports with Andrew Norton on public financing of the Higher Education Loan Program (HELP). Her expertise includes graduate outcomes, the teaching and research nexus at universities and financial returns to higher education. Ittima has appeared on ABC radio and national and foreign newspapers.
Prior to joining the Grattan Institute, Ittima worked at the Melbourne Institute at The University of Melbourne.
Ittima holds a Master of Economics from the University of Melbourne where she also gained Bachelor degrees in Commerce and Engineering (Hons).
