Steven Milch

Steven’s career spans more than 30 years as an economist, financial markets strategist and institutional investor. Given his passion for education, Steven is now sharing his extensive experience and knowledge as a lecturer for UNSW, the AGSM and Kaplan Business School.

Steven previously held the roles of Chief Economist and Head of Investments for Suncorp. In this capacity, he managed the investment team and a $21bn investment portfolio - focussing on asset allocation, fund manager selection and responsible investing.

Before joining Suncorp, Steven held the position of Chief Economist, St.George Bank. Steven has also previously worked at the Reserve Bank of Australia.

Steven also now has a particular interest in assisting not-for-profit foundations maximise their risk-adjusted investment performance.
