Bio
Sydney is a dynamic and adaptable leader with 15+ years’ experience as a people (third-line - c70 FTE), program and project manager in strategy and operational assignments. He has led led analytical and enablement teams in consulting and industry with a focus on commercial and financial advisory, business performance improvement and digital transformation.
As a management consultant his key areas of focus have been pre-deal transaction advisory, industry and macro forecasting and commercial and go-to-market transformation. As a strategy and operations professional his main functional expertise includes business performance management, operating model implementation, sales enablement and compensation architecture, reporting automation and data strategy. As a senior product strategist, he has had responsibility for managing large product portfolios including launching several new offerings in B2C and B2B markets.
A strong generalist, he has solid experience in B2B, B2G & B2C environments across Financial Services, Agribusiness, Public Sector, TMT & Higher Ed. Passionate about customer experience and data-driven decision making, Sydney has been based in three continents and worked extensively in cross-cultural and cross-functional teams.
He has also been lecturing in managerial economics, macro and microeconomics and quantitative methods for economic analysis in Australia and overseas. He has been an instructor and facilitator at most levels of tertiary and adult education, from first year undergraduate to specialised postgraduate units as well as professional development courses and workshops.
Sydney has been a media commentator for a number of years in the areas of macroeconomics, industry analysis and policy and entrepreunship.
