Riko Stevens
Bio
Dr Riko Stevens is a Lecturer in Economics at the University of Notre Dame Australia (UNDA; Fremantle Campus). He is also an Adjunct Research Fellow at the University of Western Australia (UWA) and is the Treasurer of the Economic Society of Australia (WA Branch). Riko holds a PhD in Economics from UWA as well as First Class B.Com (Hons) and M.Com degrees in Economics from the University of Auckland. His main research interest is the history of economic thought with a particular focus on financial markets. Riko's research has been published in a number of academic journals including History of Economics Review and Revue Européenne des Sciences Sociales (European Journal of Social Sciences). His PhD thesis on the treatment of speculation in the Marshallian tradition of economic thought was awarded the 2022 History of Economic Thought Society of Australia (HETSA) Prize for Best Doctoral Thesis.
