Bio
I am an applied and behavioural economist with a PhD in Economics from La Trobe University and a Senior Lecturer at RMIT University, where I have been teaching and researching for more than 15 years. I am also a Non-Executive Director at The Busking Project, a social enterprise that supports street performers around the world.
My research focuses on the behavioural implications of policy, economic impact and evaluation of programs and policies that affect well-being,, and arts and culture. I have led a project that assessed the economic value of the City of Melbourne's arts investment, using microeconomic analysis and data collection methods. I am a member of the Behavioural Business Lab and the Placemaking Economics Group, where I collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to explore the behavioural and cultural aspects of economic decisions and outcomes. I am passionate about creating innovative and engaging learning environments for my students, and I have received several awards for my excellence in teaching and curriculum design.
