The Conference entitled “Social Dimensions of Economic Development and Productivity: Lessons, Challenges and Opportunities for South East Asia" covers  a broad spectrum of topics in social security. The Conference is organized by the Social Security Research Centre (SSRC) in collaboration with the Department of Development Studies and Institutions and Economies Journal (IE), Faculty of Economics & Administration, University of Malaya, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The Conference would provide a platform for researchers, policy-makers, administrators and other members of the international social security community to discuss and deliberate on issues regarding social security and how it could adapt to emerging challenges.
