WEN Gender Lensing Masterclass

As part of the Australian Gender Economics Workshop (AGEW2019) program, a special Masterclass on the topic of Gender Lensing will demonstrate an applied analysis of the gender-patterned effects of economic policy settings, delivered by Dr Janine Dixon (Centre of Policy Studies, Victoria University) and Professor Miranda Stewart (Tax and Transfer Policy Institute, Australian National University).

This Masterclass will also provide the opportunity to hear about the history of gender budgeting in Australia, presented by Professor Helen Hodgson (Curtin University; National Foundation for Australian Women), and to find out about future initiatives and gender-based analyses being undertaken by the Australian Government Office for Women, presented by Timothy Watson (Acting Director of Women’s Economic Security, Office for Women, Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet).
