The RBA periodically provides briefings to government departments, and business and community groups. These briefings are based on RBA’s Statement on Monetary Policy, which sets out the Bank's assessment of current economic conditions, along with the outlook for Australian inflation and output growth.
Tom Rosewall (Acting Head of Economic Analysis Department) will provide an update on economic conditions with a focus on the outlook for inflation. This briefing will be for members only, under Chatham House Rule.
About the Speaker
Tom Rosewall is the Acting Head of Economic Analysis Department at the Reserve Bank of Australia, responsible for the Bank’s analysis and forecasts for global and domestic economic activity. He was previously in senior roles in economic research and international financial markets and was the Bank’s Senior Representative for Victoria. Tom holds a Master of Science (Economics) from the London School of Economics and a Bachelor of Economics (Honours) from the University of Adelaide.
