As part of the Australian Gender Economics Workshop (AGEW2019) program\,&nbsp\;a special Masterclass on the topic of Gender Lensing will demonstrate an applied analysis of the gender-patterned effects of economic policy settings\, delivered by&nbsp\;Dr Janine Dixon&nbsp\;(Centre of Policy Studies\, Victoria University) and&nbsp\;Professor Miranda Stewart&nbsp\;(Tax and Transfer Policy Institute\, Australian National University).

This Masterclass will also provide the opportunity to hear about the history of gender budgeting in Australia\, presented by&nbsp\;Professor Helen Hodgson&nbsp\;(Curtin University\;&nbsp\;National Foundation for Australian Women)\, and to find out about future initiatives and gender-based analyses being undertaken by the Australian Government Office for Women\, presented by Timothy Watson (Acting Director of&nbsp\;Women&rsquo\;s Economic Security\,&nbsp\;Office for Women\, Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet).
