NSW WEN recently announced the inaugural writing competition&nbsp\;as part of the Credible Economist Series. Selected articles that best fit the evaluation criteria will receive prizes of up to $750. Submissions close on 1 April 2022.
&nbsp\;To assist applicants in preparing submissions\, NSW WEN will be holding a Q&amp\;A and workshop event.
&nbsp\;The event will include two sessions:

Competition information: event organisers will explain the competition\, provide answers to Frequently Asked Questions and allow participants to ask other questions
Workshop: following on from the successful workshop conducted in April 2021 on &lsquo\;Writing for digital content&rsquo\;\, Catherine Fox (journalist and speaker) will briefly provide more tips and tricks about writing short articles. This will focus on how applicants can ensure their articles align with the evaluation criteria listed on the competition page.
