Located in the Botanic Garden in Uppsala, the Swedish Collegium for Advanced Study (scas) is a
national institute for advanced study. For the academic year 2024-25 the Collegium offers residential
fellowships for senior and early-career scholars from all countries.

Fellows receive a monthly salary. All Fellows have their own fully equipped office, and the Collegium
will provide and pay for accommodation for those who do not live in the Stockholm–Uppsala region.

Short-term Research Stays 2023-24

CALL FOR APPLICATION

Located in the Botanic Garden in Uppsala, the Swedish Collegium for Advanced Study (scas) is a
national institute for advanced study. The Collegium offers short-term research stays (approximately
two weeks to two months) to scholars from all countries.
The research stays give scholars the opportunity to concentrate on their own research interests, free
from the teaching and administrative obligations of ordinary university life.
