Economic Papers provides a forum for the presentation of research and debate in applied economics and economic policy analysis. Contributions are intended to be written in plain English and to be accessible and of interest to a broad ranch of economists working in business, government and in academic communities. Information for Authors
Contributions in the form of original articles, reviews, short notes or letters to the editor are sought from economists working in these areas. Original articles should normally not exceed 7,000 words, while reviews should normally be between 10,000 and 15,000 words. Short notes or letters should be less than 1,000 words. All contributions are refereed. Further information regarding manuscript preparation, formatting, referencing and submission can be found on the Wilely-Blackwell website. All diagrams and graphs must be of professional quality and ready for reproduction. Please note that we cannot accept colour anywhere in your document. This applies to maps, figures, graphs etc. They must be in grey scale. The journal is printed in black. Authors should indicate their position and affiliation and give an address to which complimentary copies of accepted papers in Economic Papers will be sent. Their affiliation (but not contact details) will be published unless authors give specific instructions to the contrary. Note: Authors whose articles are accepted for publication MUST sign the Copyright Declaration pdf form with Wiley/Blackwell on behalf of the Society.

'Best Paper' Award
Every year, Wiley-Blackwell (our publisher) sponsors a prize for the best paper published in the Economic Papers within the current year. A selection panel reviews the published papers and evaluates them according to agreed criteria. The author(s) of the winning articles receive A$1000.
